How do I become a Foster Parent?

Basic Requirements

Unconditional Love

We're in need of foster parents who can provide unconditional love to all children and are committed towards stabilizing children in their home.

Reside in the State of Florida

  • Be a Florida resident age 21 and older;

  • Be financially stable;

  • Be physically and emotionally able to care for children;

  • Pass a background check; and

  • Have adequate room and beds in your home for children.

All are welcome. You don’t have to be rich or married, have a certain faith or sexual orientation, or own your own home to be a foster parent. Great foster parents come in many ages and backgrounds.
